Iron-Conscious Formulation

• What does iron-conscious mean?

  It means formulation decisions are being considered in relation to non-heme iron compatibility. It does not mean KoFe26 has already demonstrated an absorption benefit.

• Why can coffee chemistry matter?

  Coffee contains naturally occurring polyphenolic compounds that can interact with non-heme iron in the digestive system. The relevance depends on timing, diet, and individual context; coffee does not create an iron problem for everyone.

• Does KoFe26 treat anemia or iron deficiency?

  No. KoFe26 is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure anemia or iron deficiency, and it does not replace medical treatment or professional advice.

Product Development

• Is the formulation final?

  No. Ingredient selection, processing, sensory performance, stability, and analytical characteristics remain under development. Specific ingredients and nutritional values may change.

• How will the concept be validated?

  The planned pathway includes ingredient analysis, formulation testing, sensory testing, in-vitro screening, and appropriately designed human bioavailability research.

• What is the initial format?

  The initial format being explored is KoFe26 Soluble, a coffee-style powder intended to dissolve in hot water. Serving size and preparation specifications are not yet finalized.

• Is KoFe26 available to purchase?

  Not yet. KoFe26 is currently in product development. This website follows the progression from scientific hypothesis toward a validated product.
